RumbleOn Helps Boy Scout Troop Raise Money for Great Causes (Photos)

RumbleOn was proud to sponsor the Troop 195 Car & Motorcycle Show

While the Dallas area has been swamped by floods and rain for the past week, on October 20th, the clouds finally drifted away in time for the Troop 195 Annual Boy Scouts Charity event. This charity event was a time for the surrounding community to show their pride and support for the Boy Scouts troop, and it was done in true automobile style with some stellar cars and motorcycles to view. The day was filled with laughs, giveaways, awesome sites, and good vibes. RumbleOn was there as one of the sponsors for the event, and as can always be expected, we were there to assure that all within the community were having a good time.

We were there to help get the show on the road and elevate the level of excitement, and the crowds came in a swarm. There were 1,300 attendees to come to support the troop, and that’s not including the Boy Scouts themselves. The Scouts were hard at work making sure the event was running smoothly and all were able to get involved in the action. RumbleOn was there to not just show their support to the Scouts, but to also hand out some pretty awesome giveaways and swag to all those that attended. Heather Harrington, RumbleOn Marketing Director, had no hesitation getting the company involved with the event.

“RumbleOn is proud to give back to our local community through events like these, and we are so honored to work with these amazing young men at the Boy Scouts of America,” said Harrington. “The turn out this year was the strongest yet, and we are excited to help out again next year!”

You wouldn’t be able to pass a single Scout that wasn’t wearing a RumbleOn skeleton biker mask, or a small child carrying around one of the many “Tot Rods” teddy bears that were handed out. The cars were there to stun and intrigue, and, compared to last year, there was an increase in motorcycles to view. Last year’s numbers showcased just 40 vehicles and this year that amount topped over 100.

But we wanted to get back down to our motorcycle roots and give a giant thumbs up to a bike that deserved a lot of positive attention. The competition for “Best Bike of Show” was stiff, and each bike had something to show, but at the end of the day, only one lucky winner was able to walk away with the RumbleOn trophy and a $500 gift card!

This was an event that all could involve themselves in and enjoy, especially since it was being operated by a great group of Scouts. These young individuals are trying to make a positive impact within their local community, and they took the time out of their weekend to put on an event that all loved and appreciated. They worked tremendously hard, and the Scouts of Troop 195 deserve a serious pat on the back for what they accomplished.

RumbleOn was an ecstatic sponsor and greatly appreciated being given the chance to help the Scouts and the community. And while we were out giving awards, we would have never guessed we were going to win an award ourselves. There will now be an award plaque hanging in the RumbleOn office, which Troop 195 awarded us with for being a sponsor. We are proud of what this troop was able to accomplish today, and cannot wait to do it all again next year.
